The noise is super quite, it's basically just a tiny little fan inside the blow dryer. Genius! The hair curlers are a nice thick plastic, so I think they will last for years. The only thing I think this kit is missing is a nail polish. We ended up going to the dollar store, getting a clear nail polish, emptying out the contents and put a little bit of pink fabric in the bottle and added that to the kit. Probably not the safest thing for a two year old, but my niece is obsessed with painting everyone's fingernails so it had to have a nail polish. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Fun for girls *by M***S on July 22, 2011* I would have rated this a 4 star if it were a little more durable. The bag is nice quality, the brush isn't bad - not super functional, but not cheap, the curling iron could snap at any time, the curlers are a little pointless, but ok. The mirror seems solid enough, the hair dryer is the selling feature for me, but it does seem a little delicate. We haven't had any issues with the hair dryer not working yet, but it wouldn't surprise me.Overall, I like the product, it could just be improved. My daughter is 2.5 yrs old and she like the hair dryer, mirror in brush. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Granddaughter loves it! *by G***S on September 27, 2012* Another Amazon purchased item gifted to our 2 year old Granddaughter for her Birthday in addition to the Luna Star All Natural Sparkle Fairy Play Makeup...she's just a girlie girl. I thought this would be the perfect compliment to the makeup and it was a hit. In particular the hair dryer that works (part of the time, anyway) was favored, all present got their hair dried. The hair drier,curling iron,mirror,brush & bag were all played with...while the curlers she just didn't get the hang of (there were lots of owchies).
