## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used in Sodastream machines, if so what amount per 1 liter should be added to water?**
A: All the Monin syrups can be used with a sodastream (I have one). You use about 1/2 cup (again, the same as soda stream syrups) per liter. I've tried a few different syrup makers (SodaStream, Cuisinart, Tourani) and I like Monin's the best.

**Q: Does this taste like candy watermelon or actual watermelon?**
A: It doesn't taste like watermelon candy. I would say it taste more like the actual fruit but not the kind that's extra sweet if that makes sense.

**Q: Long shot here but, had anyone made a cucumber sunrise with this syrup? Taste like the ones from alchemy bar on Carnival?**
A: I don't know what a cucumber sunrise is, but I would avoid Monin syrups.  They never taste like what they advertise to taste like.  I use DaVinci syrups and these are the best - trust me, I have tried them all.  I tend to use DaVinci Orange and Lime flavors and these are delicious.  I highly recommend DaVinci, of them all, their syrups have the best and most accurate flavors.

**Q: What is the shelf life of an opened bottle of Monin syrup?**
A: Not sure when I bought mine but date on bottle says good till 7/17

I found a true gem in these drink flavorings. I dont like artificial anything and this watermelon syrup is on point! It doesn't taste like a Jolly Rancher candy and there's no red dyes because they use beet juice for color. I'm really looking forward to trying more of their flavors. I just ordered the dragon fruit and the blood orange. If didn't know, now you do.
