It's been keeping my bike dry during the fall and winter months no problem. Good cover, company and price. I have an 07 VStar Classic w/passenger seat - mid-back sissybar. The cover touches the ground with about an inch extra all around. I have a windshield too. Not sure how high your handle bars are, but the cover could be turned around since it is longer in the front.
