The instructions were clear and the rings worked well. We used YouTube to look up a video on how to do these tricks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not a Fabulous Set of Rings, But Excellently Explained by Shoot Ogawa *by P***W on March 1, 2015* The rings are not very high quality. The key ring has a very small slot and I found it difficult to adjust. The ring would have to be very deformed to adjust to the width of a finger width, which is generally a part of more advanced ring work. Keep in mind these cost much less than those advanced sets and at about 15$ it is still a fair bargain. The rings are not the primary value of this set. That would the DVD hosted by Shoot Ogawa who is known for his "Ninja Rings" routine. While he does demonstrate his famous routine, the actual instruction is not for his routine. Only the basics of a close-up linking ring is explained. The basics are very well explained and a beginner could get a very good start from this. The written instructions include several additional tricks that can be used to round out a close-up performance. Also included is an expansion of the rings using a single solid ring and included rope. The rope is some sort of synthetic but very nice for manipulation. The effect is removing a finger ring from the rope one it is locked onto the rope with a solid ring from the set. Not very spectacular, but a great effect for someone to build out with presentation. I bought this as a 35 year veteran of magic and I am satisfied with the purchase. I paid about 12$. I was more interested in the DVD hosted by Shoot Ogawa rather than the rings. I would definitely purchase this as a gift for a youngster interested in magic. Actually, I bought these to pass on to my 8 year old who has recently been interested in learning magic. Getting to watch the video was a bonus for me.
