It’s a little wobbly because of highs but turns smoothly and is easy to adjust. The ball winder is fairly sturdy as well and the crank turns smoothly. It’s easy to wind fast and anchoring it to a flat surface is a breeze. The clamp has a nice size allowance which makies it easy to use in most places as well. The only annoyance is the squeaking. I had it a day and it started squeaking with use no matter how slow or fast I wind the yarn. It’s loud and annoying but for the price?
