Both belts are actually the same width so they both fall at the hips. However, one could choose to add more holes to the to belt if one felt so inclined. The stitches are orange which stands out more than I thought they would. I would have preferred black stitches, honestly. Also the top zipper is two zippers that have a gap between them in the middle which is a bit awkward. Aside from all of that it fits fine and works well. I purchased it as a pocket I can attach to any pair of jeans, basically. Since most jeans for women have none, or the ones they have are useless.
