Can this tool be set to do actual inch measurements?** A: Yes I'm on the road 90% of the time it works great. Would suggest you buy a passed case because it's made of plastic. Have fun and take time to practice wit it. **Q: can you use it for blueprints that have been copied & the scale changed ?** A: Just got one for that purpose. If you intend to use it for Architectural scale (1/4"=1' ,1/8"=1" , etc) then NO it will not work. This is for Engineering scale (1:10, 1:5000). Your outputs are in Miles/Kilometers/Nautical Miles, not Feet and Inches.
