## Overview

RiverBand Surgical Vet Skin Glue is a veterinary adhesive designed for quick and effective wound closure. ## Description

Our RiverBand bottle is redesigned in a larger size to hold more glue and provide more dispensing comfort. RiverBand contains purified n-Butyl Cyanoacrylate with a D&C certified dye that allows for differentiation between the product and bodily fluids. Surgical adhesive should be applied topically; it is not intended for internal closures. The tip fits snugly into the tip of the bottle and allows greater control over the size and placement to the drop of product. RiverBand Surgical Adhesive dries clear for clean appearance. It sets up quickly (5-15 seconds) and dries flexible for maintaining closure on wound site. RiverBand is designed for wound management in situations such as: Lacerations and abrasions, declaws, cuts, tail docking.

Review: Works really well - This is a small bottle so be prepared for that. That said you don’t need much . I have super dry cracked heals that are so painful. Sometimes they crack so bad I can’t hardly walk on them. This glue let me seal the worst of the cracks so they could heal, while I used silicone heal sleeves and lotion to help too.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it a 2ml or 3ml bottle?...it says two different things.**
A: Works great i believe its 2 ml

**Q: Is this glue flexable or brittle when dry?**
A: This glue is essentially Superglue so it dries the same as that. Cures in a matter of seconds. my use is for attacheing CGM Continuous Glucose monitor to one of my dogs.

**Q: I intend to use very little of this at a time. After the bottle is opened, how long does it last before it dries up?**
A: Two Months after opening.  While a sealed container, in a cool dry place, lasts up to 18 months.
Approx 24 months if kept in the freezer.

**Q: Can you glue ears back**
A: Are you referring to gluing a bulldog’s ears into the “rose” ear position?  I’ve been using fake eyelash adhesive but it doesn’t hold very long. Mine has one rose ear and one button ear. I was wondering if this glue would do a better job.

For less money I could just use dollar store Superglue as this product's only real claim to fame is that it is supposed to be antiseptic which is important for application to open wounds. I don't store my glues in an area that is septic so I will use this until it is gone and go to a garden variety of a superglue.
