The rubber used for the mounts is rather thin. Once the lights click into the mount, it's very hard to take it out. So hard that I am afraid to break it. I would not get it for my regular long daily commute, but it's fine for my kids to stay safe during their short neighborhood rides. The headlight is flood light style, and on high it lit as well as a couple of $50 lights I looked at in a bike shop. Only downside is I am thinking of cutting the lead to the horn and permanently removing it. The horn does get people's attention; but I find the sound annoying. Along with the lights, it is an extra thing remove from the bike if I am going in a store (a lot of petty thieves where I live). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight, bright light, excellent! *by N***J on December 20, 2018* I had tried the Hero Beam set and returned it because it frankly was like latching a maglite (heavy) to your bike frame. I wanted something lightweight and easy to slip on/off. This set has been great! The rubber mount bracket is very easy to install and because of its flexibility it mounts pretty much anywhere. Now the trade off may end up being durability as that kind of stretchy material may eventually break/snap.
