She opened the box it arrived in and began writing in it immediately. It has a girly design throughout the book, it has strong quality paper and front and back covers, its like a spiral notebook but with direction (i.e; date?, time?, what did you do today?, where did you go?, whom did you meet?, etc,etc....).Which is good for my girl because she loves to twist books around while writing so spiral works for her best. But we both agreed that there should be more pages added for the kids to freelance their writing and not have to follow the directions the book comes with each day, which was why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. However it wasn't enough to deter her and have her wanting to return it.
