I cut power to the well pump and started to remove the old switch. Sure enough water started coming out. It was only the water that was in the pipe from the well, not much maybe a gallon tops. Clean up wasn’t a big deal. Once the switch was installed, I turned the power back on. The good thing was that I did not have to adjust the switch, in fact it was set up nicer than the original. Should you need to adjust the switch there are directions in the box and plenty of videos on line. I was hesitant to buy a switch at a lower price by an unfamiliar company.
