I was looking for something that was lightweight and could fold down into a smaller compartment for travel. When we travel I don’t like to use purses, and I end up carrying everything in a back pack, but I also didn’t want to deal with a bulky back pack on plane rides, so this was the best of all worlds. I fold it up and keep it in my luggage, and when we arrive and go exploring I unpack it and it’s ready to go in seconds.Since it’s a generous size at first it might not seem like it would actually fold in nicely, but switching it from travel mode to its full size is as simple as folding a t shirt. The material is very thin but strong. I also found out that it’s water resistant which is perfect because I got caught in rain a few times and everything inside our backpack stayed dry.The pockets and features are very well thought out too. I loved that I could access my water bottle easily from the side, and the chest strap distributed the weight nicely so I wasn’t straining after a full day of shopping. After using it myself my husband and kids really liked it and I’ll probably buy more in the other colors for when we explore museums and markets. It looks small but they hold alot! I used it on my recent trip to Japan and it worked out great! My other backback is my travel personal backpack.
