Unfortunately this particular product will no longer be made. I contacted the parent company regarding a technical question and was given the info. They do have a replacement.I did 2 large pieces of furniture 3-4 coats each and have enough left (in a qt) to do, at least,another large piece.Prep is important and clean sanding with a tack cloth.Good luck. ### ⭐⭐ Not the best *by A***G on April 6, 2015* Not a professional product as stated. As a former faux finisher I can tell you that this is paint without pigment plus an extender but not a true professional glaze. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ McCloskey 6297 "Creativity in a Can" *by W***K on August 1, 2015* Being a total novice with the use of glaze, the McCloskey 6297 translucent has been a challenge.But after I experimented and not giving up my knowledge and technique increased to the pointthat I will buy more when this can is finished.What I learned: On a sheet of poster board, prime a section (I use zinseer bull's eye 1-2-3 Primer)using a tinting ration guide of 4-8 parts glaze to 1part paint/tint (what finally worked well for meis the Apple Barrel 207//45E burnt umber matte acrylic) 4 part McCloskey to 1 part burnt umber.What's tricky is the application method.
