It does a great job of catching fine particles. I also used it on the concrete floor in my garage and it did a great job. Keep in mind that this broom head does NOT come with a handle. You will need to purchase a handle separately, unless you already have one! The broom head is pretty large (I knew that when I bought it). It is not for small areas. It is best for sweeping large areas.
