Review: Fit's the G2 PT111 perfectly. - I wanted an outside the waistband holster for my PT111 with a thumb release for when I'm at the range. I don't care for the finger release holsters because it seems like when I draw my finger falls onto the trigger instead of over it. (Personal Preference) For the price I wasn't expecting much, but when it came (a day early) I was very happy with my purchase. I set the holster up with a rearward cant, and tried it on. First thing it's very comfortable, and secure. My hand falls onto the grip as if it's second nature, no fumbling around at all. It's a natural move to grab the grip, and hit the release at the same time. I was off last week and had the house to myself, so I carried it all day with a magazine of dry fire rounds. I must have pulled it out fifty times without any problem. The pistol is just a little loose in the holster, but holds tight so that's not a problem. I figured with it sitting away from my hip I wouldn't be able to carry it in public, but it hides nicely with my flannel shirt so that's even an option in the colder months. Overall I couldn't be happier with this holster. If you're looking for a good holster I think you'd be happy with this one. This one sits out just a bit due to the hardware that attaches the hoslter to the paddle. I found one that the holster is mounted directly to the paddle with nothing in between(safariland 678 gls). If your a little to a lot heavy this Cytac is the best choice.
