Review: Decent - Bought these for a house on the beach, for dryer vents. Worked out good, vents still look good in the salt air, no rust spotting at all. They come with screws and a foam seal. Sized correctly to fit a 4" dryer vent. The flappers work as I tended, being pushed open when the dryer is on. Since it is metal the flaps are heavy enough to close, before being blow right back open 2 seconds later. This creates a noise similar to a steam train, as the vents blow open and slap shut every few seconds. Nothing wrong with the design, just the way it is. In our case the clients vents are behind the garage out of ear shot. If your vent is close to a open window, or pool area maybe, the noise may be annoying, and I would suggest using a fixed vent with a screen. Otherwise a good product, looks like it will last.

I love the appearance and usefulness of this vent cover. I had to remove the bottom flap to allow lint to fit through without clogging. I would have given it 5 stars, however it makes a noise when it flaps open and closed as the dryer runs making it sound like a ticking noise.
