My mom is a self-admitted Chapstick-aholic, rubbing lip balm over her lips obsessively many times a day. It's taken a few years to admit it, but I'm ready to acknowledge that I have shamelessly followed in her footsteps. However, over the years, I have become increasingly picky about what my lips like - trying every brand and flavor known to man.After searching the Lip Balm world over, I can say with great confidence, that 'Yes to Carrots' Lip Balm is BY FAR the best stuff I have ever slathered on my lips! My favorite flavor is the Berry, but I also like the Citrus. It goes on smooth - not waxy or sticky, like other brands. It has awesome ingredients, and smells good! I find myself applying it to my lips less often than other brands because it really moisturizes my lips for longer.But wait... After trying this for myself, I slipped my mom a stick on the sly and now she is hooked too! Could it be that us two lip balm addicts have found the perfect formula? I think so! I am a chapstick addict and I have tried everything out there over the years. The best part about Yes to Carrots is that I don't have to reapply it all the time and my lips don't dry out so quickly like they do with basically all the rest of the chapsticks. I also like the taste or non-taste in this case. There's a little bit of citrus flavor but mostly it's neutral with no mediciney taste or peppermint smell - both of which drive me nuts. Why would I want to smell like that? I just want my lips to not dry out! Anyway as I said, the best part is it truly helps your lips to stay smooth without being so dependent on constant application. ### ⭐ Shea butter component is rancid *by B***F on Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2014* I purchased a pack of six and all smelled of rancid shea butter (I have encountered the smell before). I did not test them immediately after receipt so was past the time allowed for returns. Contacted corporate, they were reasonably nice and mailed me two $2-off coupons that can only be used in stores (my cost was $12). Not really impressed with that. Would have preferred they send replacement product so that I could compare to what I received, or at least something that could be used online. I think either the formula for this flavor is bad and/or they accidentally sourced some sub-par ingredients. Had good luck with melon flavor so far but probably won't purchase any other YesTo products in future based on their depth of customer care.
