There is a keyless chuck contrary to some comments *by Z***M on September 21, 2025* The drill should work ok for small projects. I have read a few people comment that there is no key-less chuck. This is incorrect. You need to hold the inside chuck while the outside chuck rotates & tightens the drill bit. Hold the inside chuck & rotate in the opposite direction to loosen the drill bit or screw drive bit holder.
