This was my first purchase of this type of product, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Having said that, here is my experience-It doesn't leak. That's the most important fact about this product, so 5 stars on that front.Negatives:The blue trim at the base (paint on metal) scratched after one use. The bottle had only been carried to the car cupholder and back twice, when I saw the chipped paint. Minus a star for that- it's not going to look pretty for very long.The cap also had an issue. I washed it before first use, and the blue painted cap cover came off. I BARELY used any water on the cap while handwashing, as I didn't want to get the strap wet. So, be prepared for that- I haven't bothered to glue it back on yet. Subtract another star.The strainer for the tea works well, and overall, the bottle seems well-made, just know that the cosmetic bits aren't going to hold up even with light use.I recommend you buy the brown color, so the paint chipping and flaking won't be as noticeable. ### ⭐ Waste of money *by A***R on January 9, 2019* This cup leaks from the bottom and the metal cover on the plastic cap/lid came off. Its not pleasant to have hot liquid dripping out of the bottom of the cup. Its cute, but the meal ring around the bottom has also been an inconvenience when carrying the cup by the strap when it bangs into things such as your car or doors. ### ⭐ LEAKS HORRIBLY! *by M***3 on November 19, 2018* I bought this because I was so excited to take my tea with me to work. However, on the first day that I used it, it leaks horribly from both the bottom and the top, even though I screwed it in as tight as I possibly could. I ended up wearing about half of my tea from leaking, before ultimately just giving up and pouring it out because this bottle is garbage.
