I have been searching for several months for an alternative... Walmart made a similar item that they were selling for approx $17 but the Burgundy ones sold out so fast that none of the stores in my area had one in my size. I was hesitant about buying from an online seller that I wasn't familiar with but after reading some good reviews I figured it was worth the much more reasonable $12 (and that's INCLUDING shopping!) to give this one a try. Still, I was apprehensive... turns out it's AMAZING! It's thin, yes, but so are the aforementioned brands' versions of this sweater, it's meant to be very light which I really appreciate since I live in Phoenix. Compared to the pictures of the LLR option and the Walmart version I saw, this differs in only one way: the front is a bit shorter, it's actually got a high-low hemline. However, the front, higher part is still low enough that it looks like a true kimono style cardigan so this doesn't bother me, in fact I actually like the high-low style better personally! I thoroughly inspected the product upon arrival, expecting flaws in the stitching and just checking to see if any areas were too badly sewn, and was again surprised that the entire garment was flawless. I am so in love with this cardigan that I intend to get one in just about every color offered!In summary, this is a light cardigan that has a slight high-low hem but otherwise appears identical to the LLR Sarah at 1/7th of the price (!!!).Stats/sizing: I'm 5'7", 145 pounds and ordered a Medium, it fits perfectly! Medium is my regular size in women's clothing. It's the size that fit me best in Walmart's version of this for instance. To compare to LLR's inflated sizing, I wear a small in LLR cardigans so size up one from your Sarah or other LLR cardigan size. Even with the high/low hem, the front is still plenty long enough and I'm 5'7", i would imagine for shorter ladies that the high/low part will be even less noticeable.So whether you're just looking for a nice light sweater, a kimono to give you ample coverage over your leggings or you're like me and want that LulaRoe cardi but can't afford the $70+shipping, this is seriously the best item you could get. Also note that I'm simply commenting because I love this so much and find others' comments helpful, I was NOT given a free sample or anything like that, and never have been by anyone (I wish, lol!). Just a happy customer wanting to spread the good news to fellow fashionistas :)Ps - I apologize for the poor lighting in my photos! The burgundy color is lighter than some of my pictures suggest and is actually true to picture given by seller, I'm just posting my photos for sizing reference and to show the how the high/low hem in particular fits on me. It's a solid basic item to have in your closet, and the color is perfect for Fall. It happens to be Pantone's color of the year (marsala)!I've only worn it 3-5 times, so I can't attest to the quality at this point, but it's holding up quite well so far!It pairs well with neutrals and jeans.
