A dream to install as drop-in unit, but I found the best way to mark off the counter top for cutting the hole was to flip the sink upside down, position it exactly, then scribe a sharp line around the outside. Then measure 5/8" from that line Inside and mark put a new, inner line. THIS IS YOUR CUT LINE! For a $300 sink, I think Swanstone could beef up their mounting clips and use heavier materials, that's my only complaint. Feel free to contact me if you need help.UPDATE - 11/27/17 - THIS SINK STAINS SUPER EASILY! Beware - we just opened an airb&b, and the very first guests left a small, 6" salad plate sitting in the sink overnight. Next morning, I removed the plate, rinsed the sink, only to find to my horror that the plate had left a white, visible circular stain in the sink surface! I followed Swan's instructions on removing stains by leaving a paper towel soaked with white vinegar on the stain for twenty minutes, did absolutely nothing. Tomorrow I will call the company and hope to get an easy fix, I will follow up on the outcome right here so everyone knows how to deal with this issue, which must be prevalent!UPDATE - 12/2/17 THE FIX IS IN! Swan Surfaces customer care came through big time with the staining issue on their granite sink, I'm happy to report. Very courteous on the phone, and sent detailed "fix" instructions. Here is what I did and I know that it works, but please follow carefully:1) You will need the following items if your Swanstone granite sink picks up a hard water stain. You can AVOID the problem altogether by getting an inexpensive rubber squeegee, and just wiping off any residual water after you are done with the sink, and then carefully drying it with a cotton towel or paper towel.LEMISHINE Crystal Dishwasher Additive, LIMEAWAY Liquid lime and hard water stain remover, MAGIC ERASER small hand pads, come 4 to 8 in a box, a small bottle of Mineral Oil you can get at your pharmacy, and a small rubber window squeegee.2) First step, wet the bottom surface of the sink and make a light paste by pouring some of the Lemishine crystals onto the surface, mix up the crystals with the standing water, making a loose slurry. When the paste is ready, spread that over the stained area, being sure to cover the whole thing. Let this paste dry for an hour or so. It will become hard, don't worry about that. Now, with lukewarm water, take a clean cotton rag and with the water flowing over the pasted repair area, gently remove the paste. Now it's time to use the Magic Eraser. Wet it and then gently rub the repair area, back and forth following the profile of the sink. You don't need to bear down too much, the ME will do its work! Do this action for a few minutes.3) Now rinse the whole area again, and with the rubber squeegee, remove the standing water in the area of the repair. Next, carefully pour full strength Limeaway over the repair area, covering it well. After twenty minutes or so, with your Magic Eraser, gently rub the repair again using the remaining Limeaway on the surface. This stuff is supposed to be caustic, so rubber gloves would be a good idea. You might notice the Magic Eraser is "disappearing:" at this point, it is getting worn down just like a pencil eraser, that's good - it's doing its job.Ok, you are done with the heavy work. Now, with your rubber squeegee, wipe off the remaining water from the repair area and the rest of the sink floor .4) Final Step, pour a SMALL quantity of Mineral Oil over the DRY sink surface, and using a small, clean rag, rub the oil into the sink. The idea is to let the oil penetrate into the stone, but not leave it with a greasy film. So you want to remove most of the oil with the rag or a second dry rag. YOU ARE DONE!You should notice an immediate improvement to the stain. It may not have yet disappeared completely, but in my experience by the next day, chances are good your stain will be completely gone.Give the sink a few days to absorb all the treatments and see if you are satisfied, if not, you can repeat the whole process a second time.Hope this helps others!Gary Brant ### ⭐⭐⭐ Like others, I had to replace the sink on ... *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 15, 2015* Like others, I had to replace the sink on first shipment due to it being cracked. The replacement process was simple and had the second within two days because it was Prime eligible. I had it professionally installed since I was having a remodel done. The plumber had a hard time figuring out how to install it because the clamps that were on it would not tighten enough to secure it to the counter. The installation instructions were not in the box and Swanstones online site were of no help. He basically had to make some wood shims it to make it work. The sink seems to get easily stained due to the fact we have hard water, so we have to constantly clean it. We love the size though and it was exactly what we were looking for in a single bowl sink. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One bowl to rule them all *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 25, 2017* We love this sink...I was able to install this sink myself without too much issue. I needed to cut a whole in it for the air gap and I could only find a wood cutting hole saw at Lowes...that being said it took two wood cutting hole saws to get thru it with a 30yr old Makita 12v cordless drill. I see in some of the reviews that people said it needs to be cleaned often to get the hard water stains out, but even though we have harder water I don't seem to have this issue...I have my daughter wipe it down once a week and hit any spots with a magic eraser and it has been golden.
