You know what’s not annoying is these little connectors that save you time and headaches. Connect, apply heat source, and bam you got waterproof connections to two wires. The sealing is nice to prevent corrosion which you would otherwise get if exposed. They are color coded properly to the US gauge standards. I tried a hairdryer instead of a heat gun and that didn’t work - so you definitely will need high temperature to get that firm seal. I don’t have that many projects that need this, but would still recommend to anyone that has ever needed to connect two pieces of wire. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works as Advertised *by B***D on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2019* I gave a try. This product works but, you will need to secure the connectors. After heating up the connectors and wire it becomes very flimsy. Also very important to follow the sizing correctly. Everyone I tried just melts apart then when it cools off and dries it is very brittle. Just spent the extra money on anchor marine heat shrink butt connectors and they work better.
