I still stand by the UI and great functionality of the light but must now deduct a star for poor workmanship. Seems the previous reviewer was right. Heard great things but it looks like their standards went down. After playing with the light for a while, I noticed that the head and body, once tightened down don't align. In fact, it's off by quite a lot and distracts from the overall look and grip. There is also dust under the lens and I'm still not liking the yellowish green tint shift. Most wouldn't notice but I'm bothered by it. Not the kind of manufacturing I expect from a $60 light but it's still SUPER BRIGHT and functions fine. YMMVInitial review:Received the light today....absolutely incredible. The fit and finish are very nice. Threads were bone dry but was nicely machines and had deep square threads for easy lockout. Buttons were a tad small but the UI (user interface) is very well laid out. You use the on/off button to power on and scroll through well spaced modes with them mode selector button. Has memory so will start in last mode selected. I'm emergency, double click on button to start in turbo, press and hold for firefly mode. Hold and press mode button for disorienting strobe...so glad you don't have to scroll though it but glad it's easily accessible if ever needed. There are some other lame beacon or SOS modes hidden in the UI should you want to play with those.Firefly or moon mode is extremely low so runtime should be incredible. On high, light starts to warm up after 5 minutes but doesn't get too hot if held in the hand. Tint is okay but there is a noticeable shift outwards from the corona to a greenish yellow tinge. Not crazy about it but doesn't affect practical use of the light. Wish I got the neutral tint version for better color rendition. All in all, this light puts out a phenomenal amount of light for AA batteries and easily rivals my lithium 18650 lights. AA batteries are safe and easily accessible so this is a great light for the average person without proper knowledge lithium batteries. Works great with rechargeable NIMH batteries! Overall a great light but what absolutely won me over was the UI...hands down one of the most intuitive and well thought out. Only thing that really bothers me is the tint of the LED. ### ⭐⭐ A perfect fit in my hand and on high power it ... *by O***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2016* Now this is one bright light. A perfect fit in my hand and on high power it will really light up the night. The beam is not as focused as with a large spotlight. The wider swath that it covers is nearly as bright as a spotlight but with more area covered it has become my favorite walking in the dark flashlight outside.The only drawback for me is the light switch. It is surface mounted membrane switch and difficult to locate by touch alone. The smaller light delivered as part of the set does not have a switch but rather a tighten to turn-on lens. It also is very bright and now the light I keep in my office in case of electrical problems. No problems so far and a good purchase overall.Sadly I have to reduce the score to two stars. The switch has a leak and the bulb glows very dimly. The flashlight has also started to eat a set of batteries in less than a week. Does not do me much good if it sits in the drawer but the batteries are dead when you need to use it in an emergency. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Form Factor - Great Throw and Simple 4xAA Batteries *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2015* Great flashlight choice that uses the standard AA batteries. Good throw for a small form flashlight, which also has some flood to it as well. I really like the moon glow for use around the house late at night so as not to wake anyone up in the house. My daughter (7 years old) also likes it when we take the dog for a walk around a local park as she is able to use it with it's very straightforward interface and simple switch accessibility.
