It allows you to connect 2 to the splitter, but can only flow the air to 1 or the other. Not both simultaneously with the regular air flow. If you manage to get air to both, they are significantly weaken. Even if you use their T connector to combine the air into 1, it still too weak. Results were much better without this item. I'll probably just use this junk as a on and off valve and not the splitter/valve as it was designed for. ### ⭐ Total Failure Destroys Expensive Gear! *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2020* Both check valves failed completely and damaged my equipment.I run a CO2 system on a planted tank which turns off at night. When the CO2 turns off, an air pump turns on overnight. The check valve on the CO2 line failed and water backed up into the solenoid, killing my $150 valve. During the day, when the air pump wasn't running, THAT check valve failed and my new air pump filled with water. Avoid this garbage at all cost! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They all work *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2020* I would say the suction works well. I have shown the same picture as with the filter I also just purchased. Poor little sponge filter even has a heavy weight on the bottom.
