I frequently have to manipulate air line fittings that are 9/16ths, and most other 4" adjustables don't go that wide. It fits in a pocket without being too heavy. My only complaint is that the hole on the handle isn't big enough to put a carabiner through, because that's where I carry it most days (with my work keys).
