The pipe fittings were the same so it was a case of removing old regulator and fitting new one. I have to use 8mm fittings because of the other pipes so this seemed a reasonable part at a reasonable price. The outlet fitting has a non-standard compression fitting that won't take 8mm soft copper with reinforcement. You need to use hard pipe. Back to that is a non-standard compression fitting in the outlet: Cavagna don't offer this as a spare so you have to get it right first time or throw away the regulator and start again. It's sealed now but I nearly threw it away.
