A: It is a digital, but the one I bought my mom did not work for very long!

**Q: Can #s be programmed into memory?  How many?**
A: No, the phone has no memory function (except last number redial).It has a little lined slip of paper held down by plastic that you can write a few numbers down on.

**Q: do you have to pay for a phone plan monthly?**
A: Depends on provider. We have magic jack and it’s 40 for the whole year

**Q: Can I use my cell number**
A: This is an analog telephone. You will need an active landline which has an assigned telephone number for use.

This is exactly what I was looking for! You have to understand these phones basically don't really exist anymore, so if you were expecting a heavy, sturdy phone like at the doctors office this will not meet your expectations. This is lightweight, you can pick it up and walk back and forth with it while on the phone. They provide you with the phone jack, two to be exact, a long one and short one if you plan on mounting it to your wall. This pink phone is everything I expected, great, dial tone, loud ring, big buttons, has flash and redial. Simple, yet cute!

Cute, 1980s pink phone. Good call quality. I have terrible reception in my home on my cell. This phone is great! Calls are loud and clear. It's nice and lightweight. There isn't a mute. It doesn't have a mute button, but that's not a feature I need.

I still have a landline, and this phone is just fine! For $20, it gives me what I need. It's not like the heavy old-fashioned Pac Bell phones, but it serves it's propose. It's just a basic phone, no frills, which is what I was looking for. Got the pink, and it's cute.
