This thing fits me just fine. I own about four but you probably only need one cause they wash in the sink in seconds and dry in about an hour. If its hot out, you can just leave it wet. I originally bought one of these at a bike shop for use in the fall and winter but they work well year round. They really help keep the sweat out of my eyes when mountain biking and they keep the sun from burning my head through the vent holes in my road helmet when I am out on the road bike. I don't know about closed helmet / hard hat use for summer but they would make great helmet liners in the winter for hard hats or even Kevlar helmets for military use.
