I bought this log because it was the best priced creosote sweeping log that I found online. With that said, I could see the difference in the quality compared to some of the other brands. This log worked great for what it was designed to do, but it was a little slower to catch on fire than its counterparts. Also, the center was hollow, and it had some sawdust looking stuff that fell out on the floor when opening. I did put it back in there no problem. For the price and everything it worked well, and I will probably purchase again to do a chimney sweep.
