I normally style my hair (which is around 5in long on the top and #2 on the sides) as a modern quiff/pomp and Forming Cream provides the best hold/finish and pliability as possible. It isn't exactly matte, but it provides the perfect amount of shine to make my hair look thicker, fuller, and healthier. It doesn't make your hair hard like cheap gel does. It feels very tacky/sticky and almost webby like. The smell is very manly and it is hard for me to stop smelling it. My one and only complaint is that the product doesnt look like it is described. It has a pucture of Elvis on it like the picture attached. Other than that, this stuff is amazing. If you have bought before buy it here. It is a milestone chaper ($25 for 3 vs. $15 for 1).
