Choosing the right tarp for the use and occasion is is key to the function and longevity of your tarp. Kotap offers 3 levels of protection: all-purpose lightweight, heavy-duty protection and ultra-heavy duty protection in a wide variety of sizes, weights and colors. From the Manufacturer Kotap poly tarps have been sold for more than 30 years. Kotap tarps are made of woven and coated polyethylene that is tear and UV resistant.

**Q: Is this still sewn at the center nip so that the needle holes leak water through the center of the tarp?**
A: I've never taken it out of the shipping container. Have been lucky, no fires nearby.

**Q: Did it come with an actual certificate for cpai 84 section 6 flammability standard?**
A: The tarp has a tag sewn on stating that it passes both FR NFPA 701 Method 1 and CPAI 84 Section 6 testing guidelines. If required, you may contact Kotap at info@kotap.com for the test findings for support.

**Q: Are these still made from two pieces, sewn together in a manner that allows water to leak through the needle holes?**
A: Ours is one solid piece.

**Q: Does this tarp meet California state requirements**
A: Yes. I live in California, used these tarps to cover wood piles as required by Forest Service and my property passed inspection.
