Horsetail can be tricky, but I found that if I empty only one capsule into a fruit smoothie, it doesn’t irritate my stomach. I am starting to see an improvement in my hair, less shedding and new growth. When I was researching horsetail, it says it can cause loose stools and it is definitely doing that for me 😬, so I am going to start taking one pill every other day to see if that solves the problem. I also appreciate all the information provided since I have a problem with anything I eat from the sea, so I can only purchase products that let me know it is free of fish and crustaceans, (to include information letting me know whether or not it is processed in a plant that also processes these ingredients). If you are considering taking horsetail, I would definitely do my research and check with my doctor first before starting it. But I do believe this is a good product. Review: Not losing hair every time I brush - I bought this on the recommendation of a friend. I have very dry skin, and live in a place with lower humidity then I am acclimated for. When I started using this product, I noticed that less hair was in my comb. I have now started regrowing hair in spots that have been thinning for months if not years. I have not noticed a difference in my skin, but that might take longer to change, since I have had dry skin my whole life. ## Features - Horsetail Extract for Beauty: Our silica supplement is formulated from pure horsetail (Equisetum arvense) (aerial parts), a traditional source of silica for hair, skin, and nail wellness. - Vegan & No Fillers: The horsetail grass capsules are extracted from horsetail plant extract, ensuring they are derived from natural sources and free from fillers and GMOs.
