I assume it is from the dead sea. I don't use this anymore. I used Pepto bismol liquid as a mask and it also kills bacteria and tightens your facial skin and closes pores. I also use LED Red light to get rid of wrinkles. I do drink mud powder called Terrain which is from Caliifornia to detox and I put Silica on my face under the name of BioSil.
