I have never used it on cookies. I use fondant on cakes/cupcakes and then mainly just for decorations. I prefer good old butter cream icing for taste, but you can do so much with fondant as far as decorating. I do prefer the taste on this brand compared to others. **Q: How many cakes will this cover?** A: This did a 3 layer wedding cake very thinly. The bottom was a 16", middle 12", top 8".
