The rear of the house is open for full access to seven spacious Victorian rooms. Doll sized Victorian furniture plans sold separately. The spaces include a parlor, kitchen, bath, bedroom and childrens playroom. The dormer windows add architectural interest inside and out. The first floor turret is enclosed and accessible from the inside. The second floor turret is open with access from the upper porch. Would an absolute beginner be able to tackle this project?** A: I built this house. It took over 100 hours with two of us working on it. It is so big that it has its own room in my house. My dad who has woodworking experience helped me. The measurements on the paperwork didn't always add up. It is a great house but a TON of work. **Q: can the patterns be used for laser cutting as is? no need for adjusting the scale?** A: I would have to say no. Its possible but it would require a lot of redrawing in CAD I think. **Q: Is there a material list included?** A: It does mention how many sheets of plywood and solid lumber would be needed. A standard list is not in the plan but the introduction paragraph extensively talks about options and ways to use the wood to build the sub assemblies. When built, the dollhouse divides into four sections for ease of moving. **Q: can this be scaled to 1:12?** A: Regarding Scale: There really is not a scale for the Victorian House, it is just designed to fit dolls that are near 11-1/2 inches tall. The lower floor rooms are 14 inches high. The upper floor is about the same, the loft is about 12 inches at the peak.
