I am not sure what part of the flapper is two inches. The rod to the float ball thing was too long, so I used the rod and float ball from my original stuff since they were in okay shape. Good value. Ball float design generally have better performance because of the torque applied to the valve from the long rod/float. Issue is that the rod is too long; didn’t fit into a very standard sized tank. I made it work by Dremeling off about an inch from both threaded ends of the rod (leaving about 3/4”).
