The fabric is very stretchy, and it is two layers thick. If you hold it your hand and rub your fingers together, you can feel the two layers of fabric shift against each other. Also, it is incredibly soft. I have only had this for a short time and haven't used it that much so I can't speak for its durability; however, I threading seems well intact. Lastly, price wise, I think this was a steal.
