Worked fine.  There might be some degradation in signal.  In the future, I will replace the wall plate, with one that allows the wires to hang down naturally.  For now, this works fine.

I bought this to use with my DirecTV HR24 receiver. I have a wall plate and the coax cord was bunching up and taking up too much space. This adapter works perfectly. Now the cord doesn't bunch up and maintains and nice slim fit profile.If you have DirecTV, MAKE SURE you get this type of connector, one that can pass the 3Ghz frequency. If it doesn't have the blue insert, your signal will degrade.
