Not only are the beans, themselves, delicious, but they have been roasted with great skill, leaving coffee in the cup which tastes just as the beans smell when ground (which has always been my ideal). The beans are vacuum-packed, and when they arrived they were exceptionally fresh as though they'd just been roasted. The beans, themselves, are the Bourbon variety and have the same distinctive flavor of Santos Bourbon from Brazil, but the flavor is a good deal more intense than the Brazilian beans I've purchased.
