This is definitely value for money and the simplest baby proof (dog proof?) piece of kit. The fact it can be left open without protruding into the room, yet be clipped back into place easily is great. The lock opens very easily by pinching the 2 little ears together which even a toddler probably wouldn't be able to do making it very effective. Review: Effective - Finally found a child lock that didn't easily break and our little one cannot figure out how to open. Adhesion sticker could be stronger but does the job. We had one that came off and I had to put additional double sided foam stickers.
