It works really well as you can see from the photos, had no problem getting rid of the fingerprints on the record, and left it looking brand new. The excess solution is easily wiped off with the supplied cloths, any that is left behind just evaporated off. Another advantage of this product is the label on the record will not get wet due to the small amount of liquid used. The record went from unplayable to sounding like new. The product itself seems really well built, simple to set up and use. The advice I would give when applying the cleaning solution to the pads is have one of them sticking out of the top of the cleaner, apply the solution to that pad as you slowly push it into the housing, this will allow an even distribution of the solution. The answer is yes, you can add cleaning fluid directly into the sink unit and this will give an even deeper clean to the grooves of your records. Hope this helps! **Q: Question to seller really. Nowhere does it say the amount of water ti add to the rollers or to sink to dilute with water.** A: You put liquid or spray onto the cleaning brushes 1 brush per side of vinyl then rotate 3 times clockwise and 3 times anticlockwise. If you need more liquid try buying CO cleaner from amazon. This really works and stops most pops and crackles on vinyls but not all of them **Q: I have the machine already but I need some more cleaning fluid.** A: I don’t use cleaning fluid. I use distilled water (out of my dehumidifier) fill up to cover the brushes and then clean the records. Wipe down with a micro fibre cloth and if you have one use a Karcher window suction squeegee to vacuum up the water from the record. Then just clean on turntable with normal carbon fibre brush. You will be amazed as this 99% stops all hiss and clicks. I have some second hand records bought from a record fayre and although i have cleaned them i used this cleaner. Firstly after reading other reviews and knowing about this type of product i know that it is best to fill the reservoir up to the top with demineralized water. (I use the water from my dehumidifier) This allows the record to get saturated loosening the dirt trapped in the grooves. After all it is hard to brush dried on dirt off any material. I rotated the record more than three times each way and left to soak and repeated. This cleaned the record more than sufficiently. Wiping the record with a micro fibre cloth (supplied) works well also, however at this point i have another trick i use a Karcher window vacuum to suck up the excess water and dirt. The blades of these type of vacuums are very soft rubber squeegee type. I keep an new blade just for record cleaning. I played records again and 99% of background noise has disappeared.
