Unfortunately I lost this one. The LED's are SUPER WIDE. If you have a n 8th gen Civic like I do the only way they will fit in your map light fixture is like this / \ .What I mean by the two slashes is that the right map bulb will be angled towards the driver and the left map bulb will be angled towards the driver. It works "ok" but you lose about half the brightness. It fits inside the Dome light fixture perfectly.The bulbs themselves are extremely bright but unfortunately 1 out of the 4 bulbs didn't work. Which is exactly on par with what many others say. Regardless of the inconveniences my car is extremely bright. I rated low stars because the pictures need to be fixed and hopefully others aren't mislead. Don't gamble on getting what's in the picture. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A really bright idea. *by F***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2014* Once I got the right size of these for my car, I was extremely pleased. Note of caution for those relying on Amazon to say it fits your car. Amazon explicitly said these 31 mm LED's WOULD NOT FIT a 2003 Honda Civic. Well, they not only fit, they're actually the recommended size according to the manuals. The 42 mm size Amazon says will fit, don't fit at all. They're way too big.So, after the FUBAR that was the 42 mm (I gave them a thumbs up mostly because these 31 mm lights worked so well and they're made by the same people), I sent those back and ordered these based on the manual specifications.Now, these things are BRIGHT. I know some people say they're dimmer than the incandescent bulbs, but I kept in the map lights (same bulb as the dome light I was replacing) and checked the brightness against them. The map lights were drowned out by the dome light. BOTH of the map lights together weren't as bright as the replaced dome light. So, I replaced the map lights, too.At night, these things are wonderful - especially if you're the paranoid kind with dark tinted windows and don't know if the neighborhood slasher is laying in the back of your car waiting for an unsuspecting victim to sit before pouncing. These things light up the interior well enough to be seen by Hubble, which means one can escape while the temporarily blinded slasher copes with the brightness. One might argue that they're too bright, until one is looking for their black bluetooth headset they dropped between the seats when a flashlight isn't available to find it, of course. Then they're "just right".I've always thought the map lights I had were pretty dim when it came to using them, and the illumination now (at least three times brighter, but I wasn't using a photometer to measure it) means I can actually see by glancing instead of squinting and staring. That probably will save me from wrapping my car around a bridge abutment one day.At night on a dark, rural road, using both of the map lights might not be a good idea while driving, because they will be very bright and MIGHT make driving at night a bit tricky. Pull over first and look at the map (as if anyone other than me uses maps these days, so I suppose map lights might be moot, but they will help you find the charging ports in your GPS a lot better than the old lights did).In any event, these lights will not disappoint you. They may blind you (a little tinted cellophane can cut down the glare if it's too bright), but IMHO, better too much light than not enough. And these things deliver what I consider to be just the right amount. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Fit; Very Bright; White Light *by E***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2013* I replaced the stock room dome light of my 2008 Toyota Hilux Double Cab pickup truck with one of these. The difference was remarkable. This light is far brighter than the stock light and emits a brilliant white light that makes it much easier to find anything in the cabin at night. The led assembly fit into the vehicle's 31mm fitting with relative ease. I have had several positive comments from friends and family about the light. It is too soon to talk about longevity, but I have 3 spare and all at a very good price. So far I have to say that it is an excellent product and well worth the price.
