Ortopad Bamboo patches are latex-free, hypo-allergenic orthoptic eye patches, made of a soft, natural bamboo fabric. Available in boxes of 50 individually wrapped patches. Reward posters are also available. Made in Italy. FIND YOUR PERFECT FIT Ortopad Eye Patches make patching fun and come in fun patterned patches and are available in three sizes - Junior - for children up to 2 (2 5/8" x 1 31/32") - Medium - for children 2 – 4 (2 63/64" x 2-1/8") - Regular - for children over 4 (3 11/32" x 2 5/16") Ortopad Product Features SOFT, NATURAL BAMBOO MATERIAL Ortopad Bamboo patches are made of a soft, natural bamboo material which allows the skin to breathe naturally and minimizes eyelid perspiration. With a growth of up to one meter per day, the bamboo plant is one of the fastest renewable resources. When harvesting the stalks, the entire plant remains, and the widely branched roots create new shoots over and over again. Due to its’ rapid growth, bamboo produces many times more biomass than, for example, traditional wood or cotton. SUPERIOR LIGHT BLOCKING QUALITIES Ortopad patches have a special shape with nasal slits cut into the patch for a better fit close to the nose, allowing the patch to fit well under eye glasses. The opaque black inlay assures maximum shielding from light. GENTLE HYPO-ALLERGENIC ADHESIVE Ortopad eye patches contain a hypo-allergenic and latex-free adhesive, which is especially suitable for delicate and sensitive skin, and offers maximum comfort even with prolonged use. Application Instructions: For optimal adhesion, ensure the skin around the eye is dry and clean before applying the Ortopad eye patch. Remove the wrapper by pulling apart from the center of the edge. After removing the paper backing on the patch, have your child close his/her eyelids slightly to relax facial muscles and avoid wrinkles. Place the patch over the eye, pointing the narrow side towards the nose. The slits help to flatten the patch against the nose, keeping the patch from interfering with glasses. Refrain from stretching either the patch or the skin. To ensure a secure fit, lightly rub over the adhesive to bring up to body temp. To remove the patch, peel gently starting at the nose, stretching the skin slightly with your fingers.

Experience: We tried a variety of things like other patches and cloth covers, but these worked the best by far for us! Size: These are larger but not so large that they are too big. We had some smaller that did not work well. The size is perfect. Usage: We have not had any issues with eyebrows ripping off, etc., and they have gotten stuck on there before! We also remove very slowly, though. Presentation: The themes of these are very appealing which is helpful for the one patching. There is desire to wear these in the first place because the colors are fun and inviting. Comfort: They are very soft to the touch and do not leave long markings for us even with sensitive skin. Construction: I love that they are made in Italy and advertised as being a cleaner, less chemically ridden product. We have reactions to chemicals but have not had reactions with these. Overall: I am not looking anywhere else for eye patches moving forward. We have been so pleased with these and will recommend this product to others. I hope this review helps you!!

Need: I got these for someone in my family who needs to patch daily for the next six months. Experience: We tried a variety of things like other patches and cloth covers, but these worked the best by far for us! Size: These are larger but not so large that they are too big. We had some smaller that did not work well. The size is perfect. Usage: We have not had any issues with eyebrows ripping off, etc., and they have gotten stuck on there before! We also remove very slowly, though. Presentation: The themes of these are very appealing which is helpful for the one patching. There is desire to wear these in the first place because the colors are fun and inviting. Comfort: They are very soft to the touch and do not leave long markings for us even with sensitive skin.
