It works great once it is set, but it takes a lot of fidgeting to get there. The slider with the second pin doesn't have its own screw lock and the hole on the block is a bit oversized (making it not square to the work) so you essentially have to adjust three things at once to get it set. I also had to fine tune the two points to be the same length.Aside from these things, it's a beautiful tool and does its job well.
