This diverter valve is solidly constructed - much heavier than the one I replaced. The diverter knob on this works smoothly (much nicer than my old diverter valve on which you had to pull up or push down a knob to change the flow). The only flaw I have found, as others have noted, is that the two threaded nipples are very short. Two rubber washers are included. I used one to seat the diverter valve onto the shower arm - that was less of an issue, as there are plenty of threads on my shower arm to tightly seat the diverter valve. I used the other washer to attach my shower head to the diverter valve. In doing that the female coupling on my shower head completely bottomed out against the diverter valve. So far it seems snug enough to not leak. In attaching the hose from my hand held shower I used a rubber washer that I already had. I could not get this connection tight enough to not leak, but the water merely dribbles out along the hose, so it’s not a big issue. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality Construction, nice look, one little "watch out". *by L***Y on August 11, 2018* It works very well, easy to turn the water on and off to each outlet. Nice quality, good weight to it. The one issue that you may have has to do with the free rotating end. If you think you can hang something off the side, with the side threading pointing out instead of down you will be mistaken. The end that attaches to the water source has a free rotation joint and is free to rotate so if you put anything on the side threading it will rotate and fall to the down position. Not an issue if you want it pointing down but otherwise avoid this device. If you want it to rotate wherever is wants to and end up facing down then this is for you. Very nice. Also, if you have a shower head that you rotate to change flow this thing will rotate so you need to hang on to the shower head to rotate the shower head. ### ⭐⭐ It leaks! *by P***K on January 12, 2019*  The pros - hefty valve that looks nice. I liked the length because it gave me a little more room to access the valve behind the shower head. I also like the longer valve handle. However, no matter how I tightened it, the valve leaked (see video). It didn't leak at the threads. Instead it leaked at a valve pivot point. So I got a valve that is not constructed in the same way. The new valve doesn't leak, is also a well made valve, and is less expensive.
