I own a DCS 48" gas range, model number DCS RG 484 GG. It has NEVER worked well since the day I bought it 14 years ago. I have thrown thousands of dollars down the drain and most recently had DCS factory authorized service (you get New Zealand when you call) come for the 3rd time to fix my broiler. I have been on the phone with New Zealand for hours on end. They will not stand behind their product after I paid $ 7,000 for a range. Latest service call today told me I need 3 new parts after replacing 4 other parts. This stove had to be removed from the wall to get to the part - then it couldn't be fixed. You are wasting your money with anything DCS makes.
