A lot of anger here!! I will say that, living where I do, I have never seen Cottonelle sell for $40, but this could be a bulk item??? 36 Mega rolls is a lot. For 20 Mega Rolls of Charmin, I pay close to 18, and the Cottonelle here is nearly double the amount of TP. So, a little pricey, but if you really want toilet paper people, then either purchase it or let it go. Remember, this is a time not to be nasty to each other. Before lashing out, research. Be kind!! **Q: why is toilet paper 40.51$** A: The price is just over $1 per roll. When the cost of shipping is included the price is reasonable. Many toilet paper rolls that are a decent size cost around $1 a roll. Quality and name brand increase the cost. You could buy some of the 1 star tp that might be cheaper and hope it does not have wood chips and slivers. **Q: Can someone tell me if these give off a lot of lint?** A: I don’t feel that it does. That’s why I like this product. It’s strong and doesn’t shred when used. **Q: How many squares are necessary for those 'messy' #2's?** A: Cottonelle Ultra ComfortCare TP has thick, luxurious, 2-ply sheets so you can get a worry-free clean using fewer squares. How many is up to you, but be sure to look for Mega Rolls, which has our highest sheet count. It is like having 4 rolls in 1!
