He hasn't used it as a place for rest yet but perhaps that will come later. I stretched it tightly with a little give to it so he could feel confident trying it out (not too wobbly) as it's tied together (not a solid piece). Eventually I will loosen it a bit more into the sling position as pictured to see if he likes it that way. He walks across it and hangs upside down from it. It's sized for small to medium birds. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My conure likes to use it as a hammock!! *by N***T on October 3, 2018* I was dubious about the plastic chains that this unit is hung with. However, after putting it into use, I found that at least for smaller birds like my Conure, it is fantastic. I highly recommend it.
