She informed me I had the wrong battery and pointed me at this one. So I bought it. Arrived the next day - took all of 15 minutes to swap out - I did look at videos earlier - And I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful wife who bought me a way cool electric screwdriver that had the tiniest Phillips needed. Supplied screwdriver fits the screws holding the battery in (M2), but not the case screws (Dell Inspiron 15 5510) Battery did not come with a cable, but it was simple to remove the cable and attach it to the new battery. Good stuff. Appears to be charging just fine. Review: Hit or miss on battery life due to older laptops. Return/exchange painless. - Using in Dell e7440 laptop. This laptop is no longer made so battery replacement stock may be on shelf for quite a long time before being sold. First battery purchased to a over a day to charge, then dropped about 7% in charge held in battery even when battery is removed from laptop. I got an exchange on battery and second battery does not have the high discharge rate of the first battery. The second battery works fine. Just be aware that if you are ordering for a discontinued laptop model the battery may be old stock or you may get one that is satisfactory first time out. I returned and received the second battery no hassles at all. Easy return and exchange. Will be buying another battery from seller. ## Features - Specifications:Voltage:11.1V / 10.8V;Capacity:58Wh Cell:6Cells;100% brand new from manufacture. Any suggestions?** A: You may need to push both ejector slides at the same time. Also, if the fit is off, use a knife to pry the battery up, while the slides are being pushed. Don't pry too hard and break anything. **Q: I have a hp pav dv5t-2200. the battery # is 593550-001. i see the battery # is listed compatible, but the la[top serial # is nt listed. please confirm** A: Not the same on my hp pavilion. Plus it didn’t last past one month. Stay away is my suggestion **Q: battery ad says 5200 mAh, but prior purchase and review showed only 4400 mAh, and was responded to saying yes, only 4400 mAh. Is it still only 4400 ?** A: That is a question for the seller or you can cross reference the battery you have and see if any of the numbers supplied show up as a match for your computer. Are they compatible?** A: My original HP battery is also 10.8 volts; this replacement battery appears to work fine with my laptop. The item description states the replacement battery is compatible to the 10.8v. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fit and it was easy to install *by T***S on August 3, 2026* I will say that I was going to buy a different battery and used Alexa to confirm I had the right one.
