I shipped it back and got a new one: it got scratches again.I got refunded by Amazon and they said I could keep the item so I gave it a go. I put £4 worth of batteries inside (not included in the box) and it lasted for a few hours before switching off. Replacing the batteries didn't help.The product itself is ok, easy to read and to adjust. One big issue is that if you touch the top of it you can hear a very loud voice saying what time it is, with no way of lowering the volume.Maybe I was unlucky but I would not recommend the product as it is. ### ⭐ Don’t buy *by K***3 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 May 2019* I regret buying this clock..... if I want to see the time in the middle of the night and I hit the light button the clock speaks the time annoying anyone who is in the room.
